For example-- last night, we all had PITCHERS of long island iced teas from this place down the road called Half Fast Subs. They claim to have the largest sub menu in America, and I believe it. But they also sell pitchers of margs and LITs, so obviously everyone wanted them. So we got them. Individual pitchers.
This morning we went for breakfast sandwiches at Salvaggios. They make some WONDERFUL sandwiches. Not a huge variety of food, but they have mastered what they do make. I had a great egg, ham, and cheese sandwich with tomatoes and hot sauce and a little bit of ketchup-- perfect Sunday morning brunch outside in the sunshine!
So now we are watchng the world cup and anxiously awaiting a goal. Its 104 mins in, and we are still waiting. The boys are sipping on beer and I am sipping on coffee (I fell asleep on the couch and drooled on my shoulder). After this, we are heading down to Pearl Street and to the Med for happy hour tapas for dinner. Perfect Sunday? I think so =0)
