Just a normal Wednesday Afternoon...

Chris and I just got back from a wonderful walk through the farmers' market.  We say that you know you're getting older when you get really excited for those kinds of things.  After the farmers' market, we walked around the river/falls area where we plan to go tubing.  I am so excited for that!!! Its like the Roman Rapids in Busch Gardens, except in an inner tube.We scoped out a good area and I snapped this picture of Chris testing the temperature of the water-- which is cold.  I guess that's what you get when snow melts.

Things are going very well here, and I'm learning and experiencing new things every day.  For instance, I made friends with a deaf man today.  He came up to me on the street with a card asking for any donation for the Deaf Society.  On the back, there was the ASL alphabet.  I knew enough to say that "My name is Caroline" and he knew enough to lip  read that "I don't have cash on me, I am so sorry!"  He gave me daps (aka "pound it") and walked on his merry way.  Just another fun day in Boulder.
